The Wadsworth Fencing Club's mission is to promote the sport of fencing in northeast Ohio. In doing so we hope to promote personal growth and leadership and provide the best available resources to help our members reach their goals. We strive to help our members obtain these goals in a safe, accessible environment focused on building enduring traditions and creating new friendships.
The Wadsworth Fencing Club serves the Wadsworth, Rittman, Wooster, Medina, Norton, Barberton and Akron areas. We are currently looking for anyone interested in learning the sport of Fencing (No experience necessary, Open to all ages 8 and up). For more information visit Join the Club

We are located on the 2nd floor in the north gym.
Basic Fencing Class
The Wadsworth Fencing Club offers a basic fencing class to
all members. The class covers proper en guarde, footwork,
attacking, parrying and rules of the sport. This class is
included in the monthly dues.
Times:
- Monday 6:00pm - 7:00pm
- Saturday 10:00am - 11:00am
- Stretching - 5 min.
- Warm-up & Conditioning - 15 min.
- Group Drills & Lessons - 40 min.
Open Fencing
After the basic footwork class the club opens the floor for
open fencing.
Times:
- Monday 7:00pm - 8:00pm
- Saturday 11:00am - 12:00pm
- Electiric Foil Fencing
- 4 scoring sets
- Open to all members that are in good standing and have met the criteria to participate. See club policies for more inofrmation.
